Rapid Mountain River Screensaver is a simple but enjoyable screensaver that shows the image of a tranquil water of what looks like the end of a cascade. It also includes big rocks with nice vegetation and water flowing between them on the background. The screensaver also features very relaxing nature sounds of birds and water flowing that give a wonderful touch to it. Unfortunately, there's only one image to enjoy, which represents a disadvantage when compared with other similar screensavers. The screensaver doesn't include music, but you can add your own songs to a playlist and have the screensaver play them. In the settings menu, you will find several options that are missing from the screensaver yet they are still there. For example, you can enable sound effects but there aren't any. What you can configure is the DirectX quality, the image size and the animation speed. You can also add an analog clock in one of its corners (top/bottom right or left).
In short, Rapid Mountain River Screensaver is clearly a simple screensaver to add a bit of nature to your screen, but if you are looking for a bit more variety, you should definitely look elsewhere.
